Karen Mendelsohn Gould brings twenty five years experience in San Francisco residential real estate. She focuses on the selling, purchasing and leasing of fine homes for her clients. Her experience includes condo conversions, TICs, co-ops, land sales, tenant occupied properties, residential leasing, property management, investment property analysis, and down-to-the-studs remodels. Karen’s career spans the last three low/high market cycles in Bay Area real estate. A consistent top producer, Karen is ranked among the top 2% of agents globally. She is ranked in the top 1% of all San Francisco real estate agents for sales on the City’s North Side, and she is ranked among the top 50 San Francisco Luxury Brokers.
Karen received her Bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and her Masters degree in finance from Golden Gate University. Prior to becoming a Realtor, she worked as a paralegal on construction litigation and S&L litigation cases.
Karen was born and raised in San Francisco. She lives in Cow Hollow with her husband, and her son, a rising Senior at the University of Arizona. They enjoy spending time with extended family, including their grown sons and their families, Karen’s parents, also San Francisco residents, as well as their three dogs, Speeder, Taffy and Barney. Karen has enjoyed being active in her son’s schools these past 20 years, chairing and volunteering for numerous committees and events. She supports many philanthropic organizations including Missionaries of Charity, Nature Conservancy, the Humane Society, St. Jude’s, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Crohn’s/Colitis Foundation, CPMC, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Wounded Warriors.
